About us:

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager Victoria – Professional Division to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. Your responsibilities include leading the sales and building long-term client relationships.
As the BDM, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for the business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Daily control and management of the Victorian sales
· Develop and implement effective sales strategies within the assigned area
· Lead & co ordinate with Victorian team members to achieve sales targets
· Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
· Negotiate and close agreements with large customers (eg. Dealers & Multi Site Chains)
· Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements to National Sales Manager
· Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts & reports and to present to National Sales Manager & State Manager - Victoria
· Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
· Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with market and clients’ needs
· Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
· Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
· Daily communication and coordination of activities with National Sales Manager,State Dealers
· Maintain excellent cross-divisional/departmental relationships within the business.
· Generate Equipment Quotations were required
· Manage orders included invoicing in conjunction with the Internal Sales department
· Support in stock management and movements between warehouse and dealers, based on sales needs and forecast
· Training and commissioning any sold equipment when required

· Monthly Sales target to be met
· Reporting
· Market analysis
· Key account management
· New Business Development
· New business lead generation
Requirements and skills:
· Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager in the hospitality equipment industry
· Coordinate Product Demonstrations at the Smeg Collingwood showroom and respective Victorian Dealers
· Set up Trade Shows as required. Some weekend work may be required
· An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
· Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
· Strong communication skill
· Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
· Availability to travel as required
