As part of the plan to take the enterprise to the next level, a BDM is sought to bring on new customers for the Victorian state business. This is a hands-on role with a new business development focus; cold calling, converting sales leads, and then managing and strengthening the relationships. Supported by operations specialists, you will be accountable for hitting sales and margin targets, and be incentivised accordingly. This is about producing results in a medium sized, growing company and developing and executing the sales strategy, pipeline management and sales planning, ultimately creating significant value for clients.
We’re looking for a candidate with B2B sales experience, ideally in the transport, logistics or fleet sectors or similar, who can source and build profitable customers and revenue. There is no room for a prima donna; you need to be hands on and lead by example, spending significant time customer facing and have the energy and drive to prospect, sell and close opportunities. You must also be capable of understanding the bigger picture as part of your solution selling approach. We’re after a proven sales pedigree, to provide the impetus to sign up customers, market the business, and deliver growth.
You will need a clean Driver’s Licence.
