The opportunity exists for a reliable receptionist to join an Orthopaedic Spine practice on a permanent part-time approximately 20-25 hours a week to support in the daily running of the clinic. School hours available and maybe flexible for the right candidate.

Job tasks may include-

• Front reception desk meet and greet of patients

• Scanning, emails & faxes

• Answering phones and email enquires from patients and other medical staff

• Billing to patients, in hospital claims to health fund and Medicare

• Clinic preparation

• Process new referrals

• Booking patient appointments

• Managing consulting clinics and ensuring the smooth running of consulting sessions.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A commitment to help the practice achieve the highest standard of patient care and consumer experience.

• Ability to work within a small team environment.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

• Ability to work independently and show initiative.

• Has great attention to detail.

• Medical software experience in Gentu would be an advantage but not essential. All training will be provided on site.

• Has a minimum of 2+ years of medical reception experience.

Above award remuneration and conditions are available with level of experience.

Working hours are between 8:30am and 4:00pm. Monday to Fridays, no weekend work required.
