Paediatric Allergy Specialist Practice in Frewville, looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team.

We are currently offering a casual/job share position of approx. 3 half day shifts per week, including morning & afternoon, with the ability to cover leave and sick leave when required.

We are looking for an experienced, courteous, well organised medical receptionist, who is reliable, has the ability to work autonomously when required, and who is committed to providing a professional standard of administrative patient care.

We welcome mature aged applicants for this position.

Key responsibilities: -

· First point of contact - meeting and greeting patients

· Answering telephones

· Booking/rescheduling of appointments

· Liaising with Gp's, other Health professionals and their staff

· Patient accounts, including invoicing and eftpos payments

· Faxing, scanning, emails

· Managing patient enquiries

· Other administrative duties as required

Essential requirements:-

· Recent experience working in Gp/Specialist reception position

· Excellent IT/computer skills

· Current experience with a medical software program, (ZEDMED/ZEDCLOUD preferrable)

· Medicare knowledge

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise work load
