Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Gum Medical - with branches at Gumeracha and Lobethal.

Are you a friendly, organised person who loves making people feel welcome? Do you have good computer skills and the ability to answer phones and emails professionally and promptly?

If you have flexibility to work some regular hours (1 - 2 days per week), with occasional rostered Saturday mornings; and additional hours to cover staff leave, sometimes at short notice; we would love to hear from you!

We will provide on-the-job training for the right person, but if you are familiar with clinical software (Best Practice / HotDoc) that would be a bonus.

What you'll be doing as part of our team:

Reception duties at a busy front desk including attending to phone calls, face to face enquiries and welcoming patients in a professional and courteous manner.

Scheduling patient appointments accurately and efficiently using our practice management software.

Patient billings, invoicing and receipting.

General administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, copying.

Handling patient inquiries.

Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality.

Assisting with administrative tasks.

Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive patient experience.

What we are looking for:

A positive "People First" attitude

Great communication and multi-tasking skills

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role - preferred but not essential

Ability to work full or half day shifts with flexibility to take on extra shifts when needed.
