The opportunity exists for a reliable receptionist to join our small Gastroenterology practice on a permanent part-time basis 4 days a week approx 28-32hrs a week to support our other team members in the daily running of the clinic. Hours maybe flexible for the right candidate.

Working hours are between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Monday to Thursdays No Fridays or weekend work required.

Our office is located on the 4th Floor at Ashford Specialist Centre.

The position:

Job tasks may include

Front reception desk meet and greet of patients

Scanning, emails & faxes

Answering phones and email enquires from patients and other medical staff

Billing to patients, in hospital claims to health fund and Medicare

Clinic preparation

Process new referrals.

Theatre procedure scheduling

Booking patient appointments

Managing consulting clinics and ensuring the smooth running of consulting sessions.

We are looking for someone who:

Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A commitment to help the practice achieve the highest standard of patient care and consumer experience.

Ability to work within a small team environment.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Ability to work independently and show initiative.

Has great attention to detail.

Medical software experience in Genie would be an advantage but not essential. All training will be provided on-site.

Has a minimum of 2+ years of medical reception experience.

Above award remuneration and conditions are available with level of experience.
