We are seeking a friendly, team-oriented, and motivated medical receptionist, preferably with experience, on a casual basis, working across our two clinics, Hindmarsh GP and Hanson Road Medical Clinic. No weekend or public holiday work required.

The Role:

We're looking for a Medical Receptionist who is confident in the day-to-day operations of a busy clinic and ready to hit the ground running. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, so a warm, professional manner is essential.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Greeting patients and managing front desk duties

Answering phones and handling patient enquiries with empathy and efficiency

Booking appointments using our clinical software system

Processing Medicare billing, WorkCover and MVA invoicing

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence

Prioritising tasks based on clinic flow and demand

About You:

You're calm under pressure, tech-savvy and enjoy a challenge. You understand the requirements of general practice reception and have experience with:

Medicare, WorkCover and MVA processes

Patient confidentiality and professionalism

Balancing a high workload with excellent attention to detail

Working both independently and as part of a team

Initiative and motivation on contributing to the practice

You'll also bring:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist (desirable)

A friendly, can-do attitude and strong communication skills

A knack for staying organised, even when it gets hectic

A professional, polished presence - you represent our clinic every day
