EndoView Gastroenterology is a modern, specialist medical practice providing high-quality care in gastroenterology and endoscopy. Led by Dr Kevin Choi, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient experiences through professionalism, efficiency, and genuine compassion.

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time or casual basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of an exciting new practice and contribute to a smooth, welcoming, and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients in a warm, gentle, and professional manner — ensuring each person feels cared for and valued.

Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and courteously.

Schedule appointments and coordinate bookings for consultations and endoscopic procedures.

Process payments and manage billings through Medicare, health funds, and private accounts.

Prepare, file, and manage patient records, correspondence, and reports.

Liaise with referring doctors, hospitals, and specialists to ensure efficient communication and workflow.

Support the Practice Manager and specialist with day-to-day administrative duties.

Maintain a tidy, professional reception area and uphold the high standards of the EndoView brand.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role (specialist experience preferred).

Minimum of 1 year of medical receptionist experience is required.

Knowledge of medical billing systems, Medicare, and health fund processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a gentle but confident phone manner.

Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calm professionalism.

Competency in medical software and Microsoft Office.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

Minimum availability of 10-20 hours per week is required for this casual position.
