About the role

This specialist practice is seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team in Penrith and South Wentworthville NSW. This is a casual part-time position. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for all who visit our medical centre.

Candidates must be available to work at either locations.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients, parents and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

Scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently.

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services accurately and in a timely manner.

Performing general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and inventory management, mailing, communicating with hospitals and other agencies.

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

Assisting with other duties as required to support the smooth running of the paediatric medical non procedural practice.

What we're looking for

A minimum of 1+ years of medical receptionist experience is required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Proficient in using medical practice management software preferably Blue chip and Microsoft Office applications

A friendly, professional and helpful attitude

A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
