We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk to join our Brunswick office. This role supports both entities and is ideal for someone experienced in accounting administration who enjoys working in a professional yet down-to-earth team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process and reconcile supplier invoices (accounts payable)

Manage purchase orders and subcontractor claims

Prepare and process weekly payroll, including timesheets and leave records

Ensure compliance with awards, EBAs, superannuation, and taxation obligations

Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end reconciliation

Liaise with suppliers, employees, and management regarding payments and payroll

Provide general administrative support to the finance and project teams

Skills & Experience

2+ years’ experience in accounts payable, payroll, or bookkeeping

Proficiency in Xero (preferred)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Understanding of payroll compliance and superannuation requirements

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Construction industry experience highly regarded

Ability to work independently across multiple entities
