About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Support Manager to lead a team of Disability Support Workers serving Supported Independent Living and community-based clients in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Ipswich and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and support Disability Support Workers to ensure high-quality participant engagement
Foster a person-centered Supports, where people come first
Drive results and proactively solve problems
Collaborate effectively while also working independently as needed
Build and maintain meaningful relationships with all stakeholders
Develop, implement, and evaluate plans to help clients set and achieve personal goals
Facilitate community inclusion and participation, supporting clients to build relationships and pursue interests
Complete buddy shifts with new staff and fill shifts as required
Be available for on-call or after-hours support as needed
Participate in a monthly roster for on-call and after-hours support availability
Travel within Toowoomba and SEQ as required
About You
Proven leadership and people management skills
Minimum 1-2 years of leadership and people management experience
Service-oriented and participant-focused mindset
Strong track record of achieving positive outcomes for participants
Experience in the NDIS disability sector
Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in the NDIS disability sector
Hold a NDIS worker screening Check , Working with Children check, First Aid & CPR certificates, valid driver's license, and have a reliable vehicle
Excellent understanding of NDIS guidelines
Strong administrative and IT skills
