About the Role:

In this vital role, you’ll support NDIS participants to navigate the NDIS system, connect with appropriate services, and build their capacity to manage their own supports. You will be working with a diverse caseload, including participants with complex needs and those living in remote areas. Flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and a strong understanding of the challenges facing these communities are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Help participants understand and implement their NDIS plans

Coordinate a range of supports including informal, community, and funded services

Provide specialist support to participants with complex needs and remote living situations

Build participants’ capacity for independence and choice

Collaborate with families, service providers, and other stakeholders

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all NDIS guidelines

About You:

Experience working with people with disability, including complex support needs

Understanding of the NDIS framework, including remote and rural service challenges

Qualifications in social work, psychology, community services, or a related field

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

A trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach

Current Driver’s Licence and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Willingness to travel to regional and remote areas as needed
