About EQ Pathology

EQ Pathology is revolutionising the life insurance underwriting industry in Australia. We work with leading insurance companies to gather medical information for life insurance applicants, managing a network of nurses across Australia and a dedicated team of case managers in Melbourne and Perth.

Our Recent Achievements:

Winner of the ALUCA Partnership Impact Team Award (June 2025) for our collaboration with Acenda

Launched Australia's first end-to-end digital underwriting solution, replacing traditional PDF forms with smart digital questionnaires

Recognised for transforming the life insurance application process, delivering results within 24 hours

Rapidly growing while maintaining our position as technological leaders in the industry

We're not just another business - we've built a global-first innovation for the underwriting life insurance industry, and we're committed to staying ahead of our competitors through continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

The Opportunity

This is a newly created role designed specifically for someone seeking part-time hours (between 9:30am - 3:00pm daily) - perfect for parents with school-aged children or those seeking flexible work arrangements. You'll be instrumental in building efficiency across our business through data analysis, process improvement, and technology enablement.

As our Business Analyst, you'll work at the intersection of data, technology, and operations - translating business needs into actionable insights and driving change across our administration teams, IT development framework, and client reporting capabilities.

Here's what makes this role unique: You'll sit directly with decision makers. When you identify a problem, scope a solution, and present it - decisions are made on the spot. No endless committees, no bureaucratic delays. If we agree it's a good idea, you run with it. This is a company where change happens quickly, and you'll have the autonomy to make things happen.
