This role is working for a leading energy & sustainability consultancy that help large businesses decarbonise and cut energy costs. The organisation have a team across multiple states in Australia who are technical specialists providing energy engineering and technical services for the creation of carbon credits energy savings certificates for things like solar and energy reduction such as LGC's, STC's, VEEC's and much more.

The position

We’re looking for a Business/Data Analyst who loves solving complex problems, optimising processes, and building smart data tools, this role is for a doer who can interpret business processes and turn them in to automation.

Reporting to the GM, you’ll streamline workflows, automate systems, and deliver insights through Power BI, Salesforce and other platforms. Your work will directly support smarter decision-making and measurable sustainability outcomes.

In this role you will:

• Map, analyse and improve core business processes
• Automate workflows to save time and cut errors
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to inform strategy
• Integrate systems (Salesforce, Power BI, Mission Control, Xero) for seamless operations
• Translate data into insights that drive growth and efficiency
• Ability to bring genAI or AI tools forward would be highly regarded

Experience needed

• Strong skills in Excel especially,
• Skills in Power BI (or Tableau), driving integrations, and data analysis
• Experience with platforms like Salesforce or anything related
• Experienced with process automation and integration tools
• Background in business process optimisation and reporting
• Benefit but not essential to have exposure to energy, sustainability or environmental sectors
• Benefit to come from the energy certificate market or an AP
• Several years experience in a Business Analyst / Data Analyst role
• Ability to bring genAI or AI tools for business improvement would be highly regarded
