About the role

As a Leading Hand - Mobile Crushing, you will play a key role in the success of Rostrevor Group's operations. This is a full-time position based in Victoria (whole State) + Interstate, where you will be responsible for supervising a team of mobile crusher operators and ensuring efficient and safe operations.

This role requires a significant travel commitment with interstate work expected 50-75% of the time.

What you'll be doing

Supervise a team of mobile crusher operators and coordinate their daily activities

Ensure all mobile crushing equipment is operated safely and efficiently

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the mobile crushing operations

Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during operations

Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met

Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to less experienced team members

Promote a positive and safety-focused work culture

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) working as a Leading Hand or Supervisor in a mobile crushing environment

Strong technical knowledge of mobile crushing equipment and operations

Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a team of operators

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to maintaining high safety standards

Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to changing work environments

Relevant qualifications in mining, engineering or a related field would be highly regarded

Australian work rights are required for this position
