Rob Carr Pty Ltd is a leading contractor in trenchless and conventional pipeline construction, micro tunnelling, deep shaft, and service installations. Due to new project wins and a strong pipeline of projects in 2026, we have opportunities for experienced Civil Labourers, Leading Hands and Operators to join our site teams. Some travel, including interstate, will be required for future projects.
Your Role & Responsibilities: (Labourer and Leading Hand)
Performing general civil labouring tasks on-site
Assisting with excavation & deep trenching using shoring systems
Working in confined spaces & around live services
Supporting pipelaying crews & tunnel boring operations
Helping with manhole construction, concreting, and finishing work
Engaging in landscaping & site restoration activities along with construction related activities as required
Your Role & Responsibilities: (Operators)
Operating Excavators
Working around services
Deep excavation using shoring system
Open cut/trenching
Confined space
Water pipelines, micro tunneling environment
Finishing work
Excavation around structures
Locating of Services
Assisting pipelaying crews
Assisting tunnel boring operations
Assisting manhole building
Assisting formwork carpenters, concreters, plant operators, etc
Construction related activities as required
You must:
Have an OHS White Card
Have your own transport to travel to site daily
Previous experience in storm water, civil construction or micro tunneling operations – advantageous
Be an experienced Civil Labourer or Leading Hand
Be focused on Safety, Quality the Environment and Productivity
Be a flexible team player
Be reliable and committed
Be prepared to travel, including interstate as required

About Rob Carr
Rob Carr Pty Ltd has completed a number of sewerage, drainage, water, storm water and gas projects for a variety of government authorities and private industry. Our client list of government authorities includes but is not limited to Queensland Urban Utilities, Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast Water and City Council, Link Water, Sydney Water, South East Water, Melbourne Water, Water Corporation WA, Toowoomba City Council and the Northern Territory Government. Building 10 pump stations and also connecting well over 5000 properties to sewer infrastructure.
