About the Job

We are seeking two Accounts Officers to assist the Finance Manager and Hotel Accountant. You will learn both accounts payable and accounts receivable and assist one another in carrying out daily, weekly and monthly tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Reconciliation of daily revenue, trust accounts and bank accounts

Management of all invoicing against purchase orders

Reconciliation of supplier statements

Effectively manage aged receivables and report accordingly

Accuracy of financial statements

Provide support to the Finance department as required

About you

Understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

Able to work effectively within a small team and has a proactive approach to assisting the team to cover fluctuations in workloads when required.

Ability to build and manage client relationships

Proven ability with Sun Systems and RMS or Opera PMS highly regarded

Previous accounts receivable and/ or accounts payable experience

Experience with management of trust accounts

Dynamic individual with an ability to multitask

Strong commitment to process improvement
