Rogers Group is a leading national provider of Transport, Logistics and Warehousing services. With continued growth across our operations and customer base, we are seeking an Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who enjoys being across the details and ensuring the day-to-day finance operations run smoothly.

About the Role

The Accounts Officer will take responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of accounts across payables, receivables, payroll support, and reconciliations. You’ll work closely with our Finance Manager and the wider team to ensure the financial side of the business supports our growing operations.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Daily bank and account reconciliations

Processing invoices, credit notes, and supplier payments

Payroll data entry and compliance support

Managing debtor follow-ups and responding to supplier queries

Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting tasks

General finance and administrative support across the team

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a broad accounts role (minimum 2–3 years)

Solid understanding of AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; accounting/ERP system experience a plus

Strong communication skills and the ability to build good supplier/customer relationships

Experience in transport, logistics, or warehousing will be an advantage but is not essential
