About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first friendly face our patients see, creating a warm, seamless, and supportive experience from the moment they walk in. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to help deliver high-quality care and service.

🔹 Employment:

Hours: 20–25 hours per week (with option to increase hours at Newton as well)

Employment Type: Begins as a casual role during a probationary period, with the opportunity to transition to permanent.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Be the friendly face and voice that welcomes and assists our patients.

Schedule appointments, manage patient information, and support clinical staff.

Perform a range of administrative and reception duties.

Contribute to the day-to-day running of our practice.

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional, and friendly approach to patient interactions.

Thrives in a fast-paced team environment, staying calm and efficient under pressure.

Reliable and flexible, with 8-hour shifts between 7:30 am – 6:30 pm (weekdays).

Proactive and solutions-focused, always looking for ways to improve processes and patient experiences.

Strong work ethic, showing up on time, taking initiative, and maintaining high standards of service.

Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft programs and our medical software (training provided).

Adaptable and resilient, able to multitask and stay composed in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Team player who enjoys collaborating and supporting colleagues to keep things running smoothly.

Medical reception experience is a plus, and Best Practice knowledge is beneficial but not required.

📚 New to medical reception? No problem. We provide full training and mentorship, and school-leavers or those without experience are encouraged to apply
