InHealth North Adelaide - 88 O'Connell Street, North Adelaide (opening November)

Job Description

We are seeking multiple highly organised and efficient Medical Receptionists to join our two new medical centres. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities

Opening and closing the practice.

Answering phone calls in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

Scheduling and confirming patient appointments and managing the practice’s appointment calendar.

Meeting and greeting patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.

Entering or updating patient details in Best Practice.

Processing payments and Medicare claims using Best Practice and TYRO / EFTPOS.

Liaising with healthcare practitioners, external providers and staff to coordinate efficient patient care.

Sending outbound patient correspondence (referrals and reports) to external providers.

Scanning and filing inbound patient correspondence and results.

Sending reminders and recalls to patients via Automed or Best Practice.

Providing any other required administrative support to the clinical team.

Maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the reception area and waiting room.

Requirements

A passion for providing exceptional customer service.

A positive attitude, and friendly and welcoming disposition.

The ability to communicate professionally, respectfully and with compassion and empathy.

The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Strong people management skills including the ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.

The ability to work with minimal supervision.

The ability to multi-task effectively, prioritise workload, meet set timelines, and maintain your composure under pressure.

The ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and processes.

Current CPR Certificate.

Experience as a medical receptionist, a demonstrated commitment to the healthcare industry, knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, and multilingual skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
