Senior Test Automation Engineer

Location: QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, SA, TAS

Are you a seasoned Test Automation Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes in complex environments? This long-term opportunity (18 months + extensions) will see you support a major digital program, contributing to the development of reliable solutions across both manual and automated testing disciplines. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and execute both manual and automated functional test plans.
• Create and maintain robust test cases using tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber.js.
• Execute RESTful API tests and apply XPath and Regex for automation scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing continuous quality feedback throughout the SDLC.

Key Criteria:

• Strong programming background with practical experience in TypeScript and Selenium.
• Demonstrated use of version control systems, especially Git.
• Proficiency with API testing and test management tools such as XRay.
• Proven experience with automation frameworks and scripting using Playwright and Cucumber.js.
