Our client, a Federal Government organisation that supports the functioning of Parliament and parliamentarians through the provision of professional services, advice and facilities, are seeking the experience of multiple Test Leads.

About the role - Test Lead

Work closely with project, technical and executive stakeholders to contribute to develop and implement a strong automation strategy, conduct automated regression testing across various applications and environments (Dev, Test, QA), create data for multiple applications in different environments (Dev, Test, QA), lead and mentor a diverse team of software testers (manual, automation and performance).

Duties - Test Lead

• Oversee defect lifecycle from identification to closure across Agile squads;
• Facilitate daily triage meetings to prioritise and assign defects;
• Analyse defect data for trends and root cause to improve quality;
• Ensure consistent severity classifications aligned with risk models.

Skills / Experience - Test Manager

• Strong understanding of data quality principles and testing methodologies;
• Has strong ability, and at least 3 years hands-on experience, in analysing and testing data quality, detecting data, integration and functional anomalies, and validating data accuracy and completeness;
• Strong understanding of defect metrics (severity, priority, fix rate, reopen rate) and their implications on delivery risk and familiarity with SIT, UAT, and production warranty cycles in large-scale digital transformations;
• Must be highly experienced in writing good test cases, test scripts and demonstrate practical experience in the use and configuration of testing automation tools.
