About the Role

Based at our Bayside Site in Cheltenham, you will be crucial to the success of this Transfer Station site.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

· Directing staff and assigning tasks associated with daily site requirements

· Operation of front-end loader, forklift and excavator/telehandler

· Coordinate Yard maintenance, sorting of materials and sweeper operations

· Rostering both full-time and casual staff to ensure site is covered

· Approving timesheets and leave requests

· Actioning PO requests

· Maintaining a safe work environment including running monthly toolboxes

· Ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained to a high standard

· Cash handling

This site will open Monday to Saturday 8:00AM-4PM

To hit the ground running you will need:

· Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

· Excellent communication and people skills

· Leadership and managing people are key requirements

· Friendly and approachable nature

· The ability to work across the sites opening days and hours

· Machinery experience and qualifications essential.

· Background in waste and recycling is preferred
