About the Role

We are seeking a Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our Metro (Noble Park) depot within the Logistics team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily depot operations, leading a team of drivers and packers, and ensuring that all deliveries and collections are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational support with people management and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and assist in the day-to-day running of depot operations.

Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to staff and drivers.

Monitor performance and address issues as they arise.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and WHS standards.

Liaise with management, drivers, and other departments to maintain smooth workflow.

Conduct toolbox meetings and promote safe work practices.

Report vehicle or equipment faults promptly and accurately.

Promote teamwork, respect, and accountability across the depot.

About You

Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role within logistics, transport, or warehousing

Current Australian HR Driver’s Licence (required).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work early mornings and weekends as operationally required.

Sound computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.

Safety-conscious and committed to continuous improvement.
