Position Overview:

As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supervising a team of 5-6 individuals, ensuring the smooth operation of the production process.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 5-6 assembly workers
• Ensure all assembly processes are carried out efficiently and to the highest quality standards
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Monitor work schedules and ensure on-time completion of tasks
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Collaborate with production manager to optimise assembly processes
• Identify and report any quality or safety issues
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and improvements

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in assembly or a related field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to workplace safety
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus
