Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital
You will play a key role in supporting the Director of Medical Services by providing dynamic administrative assistance for medical credentialing. You will assist in coordinating accreditation, re-accreditation, and other related processes for senior medical staff using our easy-to-use e-credentialing system.
This role is permanent part time at 24 hours per week.
The Position
- Undertake comprehensive administrative processes for accreditation, re-accreditation, scope of practice and mandatory training for Visiting Medical Officers.
- Process applications using the Equifax eCredential system.
- Maintain the Doctor Database in webPAS ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain accreditation electronic records and manual filing systems.
- Perform regular audit reviews of the Doctor Database in webPAS verifying information and producing regular or ad-hoc reports on request.
- Assist with on-boarding for newly accredited practitioners.
- Arrange and attend Scope of Practice Committee meetings and provide supporting evidence relating to the Scope of Practice Committee.
- Follow up actions from the Scope of Practice Committee.
- Participate in external/internal reviews of credentialing processes
- All other reasonable duties as directed by the Deputy Director Medical Services.
You will ideally have experience in credentialing Senior Medical Practitioners-both employed staff and VMOs-within a fast-paced hospital environment.
To excel in this role, you must demonstrate strong professional organizational skills and a proactive, self-directed approach to managing tasks. You must have excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a supportive team is essential.

- Salary: $85,508 to $87,204 pro rata for part time, plus 12% superannuation
- Permanent Part-time opportunity, working 48 hours per fortnight
