About the Position
Working within our Community, Culture and Recreation team, this part-time position will contribute towards creating a vibrant and enriched community through researching, developing and implementing community development initiatives based on Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) principles, primarily in the areas of inclusion, accessibility, and community support for target populations.
Working days and hours will be negotiable for the successful candidate pending operational and team requirements.
To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in the field of Community Development.
- Experience with planning, delivering and evaluating community development projects to meet the needs of target populations.
- Knowledge of issues relating to diverse and vulnerable populations, including CaLD, homelessness, and people who experience social isolation.
- A current National Police Clearance.
- Current 'C' Class Driver's License.
