About the role
We are currently seeking a Club Development Officer on a permanent, part time (0.6FTE) basis, across 3 full days, with the days flexible for the right person.
Reporting to the Coordinator Recreation, this role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the City’s relationships with community sporting clubs, groups, and state sporting associations, while supporting the delivery of programs, projects, and activities that strengthen both the City and its community clubs and groups.
A snapshot of your new role:
Implement systems and processes for managing relationships and responding to the needs of community groups and clubs
Support clubs and community groups in their development goals, through support and access to resources
Contribute to a schedule of club development and community capacity building events and activities
Develop programs and activities that promote participation in activities, in consultation and collaboration with clubs, groups and associations
Who we’re looking for:
Tertiary qualifications in Sport, Recreation or Leisure Management, or similar, OR equivalent level of skills, knowledge and experience
Experience engaging with community organisations
Experience in recreation facility planning and development, and supporting local organisations in their short and long term development to enhance community services
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
Collaborative team player
Satisfactory National Police Clearance (under six months)

$83,315.27 - $92,552.83 per annum + super
