About the role

This role will provide vital administrative support to the medical professionals at the practice, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to patients.

Providing comprehensive administrative support to medical staff, including managing appointment scheduling, handling patient enquiries, and maintaining patient records

Patient invoicing, including managing payments and Medicare claims

Attending to telephone calls and email correspondence

Making and re-confirming appointments and theatre bookings

Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience

Ideally 4 days a week but open to negotiation.

About you

Previous experience as a private surgical medical receptionist using Genie software or a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is essential.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

A warm, friendly, and empathetic approach when dealing with patients

The ability to work both as part of a friendly team and autonomously
