Bolton Street Pantry: Venue manager

Bolton Street Pantry is an established and reputable cafe restaurant in Newcastle CBD known for its elevated brunch menu, specialty coffee and excellent customer service.

We have also recently opened DONDA pop up restaurant, operating out of the cafe 2 nights/ week which has been a great success. We are a growing business and are looking for the right team members to assist in our growth and new opportunities.

About the Role
We are looking for an energetic venue manager who will lead, motivate and manage a team to continually deliver an exceptional guest experience, uphold our high standards and add value to help grow business sales. This is a hands-on role that requires energy, attention to detail, and a genuine love for hospitality.

As a venue manager, you will set the tone. Build staff culture, motivate staff, set standards and create a warm atmosphere.

We have a great team, supportive environment and can be flexible for the right person. Bonuses also available for hitting target KPI's.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service.

Deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive high service standards.

Train, manage and inspire an enthusiastic FOH team.

Rostering and managing budgets.

Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.

Manage staff training and performance.

Drive sales and monitor budgets, costs, and KPIs.

Maintain a welcoming, safe, and compliant environment.

Skills and experience

Must have management experience and great people skills.

Must have coffee knowledge and experience.

Must be sales driven with a proven record of lifting sales.
