Experienced and energetic full-time Cafe Store Manager wanted at a busy Airport environment.

Located in the heart of Sydney Domestic airport terminal, you will lead our team as they provide unparalleled service to domestic travellers. You will ensure our team consistently delivers above and beyond while serving premium cookies, coffee and bakery products for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

About Us

Our cafe is a well-rounded business, with a range of easy to prepare products, designed to meet our customers' demands across the entire day, from early morning, breakfast, lunch - to an evening treat.

We are looking for a leader who will:

Motivate and lead from the front with hands-on approach

Ensure tasks are performed according to standards and procedures including complying with Sydney Airport safety protocols

Ensure store is presentable and well maintained at all times

Provide a high standard of customer service and products

Oversee daily store operations including ordering, rostering, staff management, supplier management, stocktake, and equipment maintenance

Be proficient in using computers and technology such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Excel, Word, Outlook, Whatsapp, and Deputy HR

Demonstrate knowledge of regulations relating to food safety with confidence in training teams in food safety standards

Champion maturity, initiative, and a sense of urgency

Be responsible for stock control and waste management

Bring your higher self to work and show respect for others through your words and actions

Be flexible to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday which may include early morning and late nights

Must be available to work split shifts as required for this role

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry and at least 1 year of barista experience

Hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate must be obtained within 30 days of commencement

Experience in staff rostering using Deputy HR

Experience in inventory, purchasing and waste management

Strong leadership and team management skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong ability to produce high quality coffee and other beverages

Knowledge of coffee preparation and food handling standards

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

As we're located in a dynamic airport environment, we operate outside typical business hours. We are looking for someone who is reasonably flexible with availability as trading hours will fall outside normal business hours.
