We have been part of the Newy coffee scene for 10 years and we love slinging lattes & great banter. Our wall of record art is famous in the area, IYKYK.

We are looking for a manger or assistant manager to come in and bring their vibrant and energetic attitude to our coffee bars. We want someone who is keen to help our crew grow and become even better versions of themselves. The environment is all about good beats, brewing coffee and having a chat to locals.

As a manager or assistant manager, the ideal candidate will have some experience in cafes/ a fast paced environment and or management, have a passion for everything coffee, be able to work smart and efficiently and most importantly have a drive to lead and nurture our positive vibes.

Hours: Monday - Sunday on a rotating roster, with two consecutive days off, a range of shifts available and no shifts finishing later than 2.30pm weekdays and 1pm weekends. Yes Hospitality with no nights & coffee on tap!

Key Responsibilities are not limited to:

Manage, coordinate and supervise staff rosters & shifts

Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

Assisting in maintain stock control through monitoring of wastage, effective ordering/receiving and storage procedures

Management of suppliers, deliveries, invoicing etc

Managing product and venue presentation and cleanliness.

Induction and training of new staff and maintenance of service standards throughout

About You

Collaborative management style with positive leadership skills

Previous retail or other supervisory experience

Rostering, cost management, Point of Sale software knowledge.

Passion for the food and beverage industry and a creative flair

Coffee Genius or avid enthusiast

A professional approach and an enthusiastic work manner

Good written and verbal communication skills
