Aspley Family Doctors is a newly established General Practice located on Brisbane North Side. We are currently seeking 2 x Medical Receptionists. This is an exciting opportunity to get in from the ground up and make this position truly yours. We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to be the face of our practice and complement our small team.

You'll be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Your key responsibilities include:

Greeting patients

Answering phones & handling enquiries

Managing appointment bookings

Billing, payments and reconciliation for a mixed billing practice - patient direct, Medicare, DVA, Workcover etc.

Providing administrative support to clinical staff

Maintaining accurate patient data, coordinating follow-ups and recalls

Creating a welcoming front-of-house experience for patients, while staying on top of day-to-day administrative duties

What you'll need for this role:

A warm and professional manner

Confidence in using multiple digital systems including:

Best Practice software

Hot Doc

Microsoft 365

Medical Objects

Previous experience in Medical Reception (preferred) or similar

Familiarity with medical software (e.g. Best Practice – desirable)

Strong communication & multitasking skills

Have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with management in a fast-paced and professional healthcare environment
