About the Role

As the first point of contact, you’ll create a positive experience for every patient while keeping the clinic running smoothly. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail.

Key tasks include:

Greeting and assisting patients

Managing phone calls, bookings, and patient flow

Processing Medicare, private billing, and Tyro transactions

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring privacy compliance

Supporting doctors, nurses, and the reception team

About You

Previous medical or healthcare reception experience

Friendly, reliable, and professional

Strong multitasking and communication skills

Knowledge of Best Practice software (preferred)

Understanding of Medicare and private billing systems

A proactive team player with a patient-first approach
