Medical Receptionist – Join Our Team at Morningside & Belmont General Practice Clinics

Morningside General Practice and Belmont General Practice Clinics are looking for a friendly, professional, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a busy, patient-focused environment. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in providing excellent service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our clinics.

Responsibilities

Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and caring manner

Answering phones, booking appointments, and managing enquiries

Processing Medicare, DVA, and private billing payments

Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry

Supporting doctors, nurses, and fellow reception staff

General administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the practice

About You

Previous experience as a medical receptionist (preferred but not essential)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong computer and typing skills (experience with Best Practice software an advantage)

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

A caring and professional attitude towards patients

Flexibility to work across both Morningside and Belmont clinics
