Are you a warm, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a difference in people’s lives? Pasadena Medical is seeking a Casual Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team for approximately 15-25 hours per week.

Located in the vibrant Pasadena Shopping Centre, our clinic is home to a collaborative mix of General Practitioners and Allied Health Professionals, supported by a strong nursing and administrative team. We’re looking for someone who is confident using technology, quick to learn new systems, and comfortable navigating digital tools in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role Will Include:

Opening the clinic and preparing for patient arrivals

Managing appointments via phone and in-person using our computer system

Welcoming patients and coordinating with doctors

Handling phone enquiries, account queries, and prescription requests

Processing payments and billing

Supporting doctors with administrative tasks

Managing incoming and outgoing mail, scanning documents, and filing

Coordinating pathology collections and following up on results

Performing banking, shopping for staff amenities, and posting mail

Keeping the waiting area tidy and assisting with general office duties

What You’ll Need:

A genuine “people person” attitude with a warm and approachable manner

A current Working with Children Clearance from the Department of Human Services

Up-to-date CPR certification

Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare setting is highly regarded but not essential
