About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our vibrant team at Erindale Medical and Health in Erindale, SA.

This is a casual position, offering flexible working arrangements starting at 15hrs/wk with more hours available as required.

As our Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and efficiently managing the flow of our busy medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients, and assisting them with the check-in process

Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, both in person and over the phone

Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services and procedures

Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring the confidentiality of all medical information

Handling Medicare Billings and HiCAPS claims

Performing general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the practice

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service-focused role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Proficiency in using Best Practice software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and email systems

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records

A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work well in a team environment
