The role? Chief Number Whisperer / Ledger Legend / Director of Dollar Decisions … aka Bookkeeper.

Day-to-day, you’ll be across:

· Accounts Payable & Receivable

· Payroll

· BAS Review & Reporting

· Xero (all of it)

· Reconciliations that actually reconcile

· Spotting opportunities and helping clients stay one step ahead

Bookkeeping CoLab is a tight-knit team that values curiosity, clarity and collaboration. You’ll get flexibility to work from home, but you MUST be Melbourne-based looking for 10-20hrs per week.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A quiet, private workspace with a secure internet connection (essential).

We will provide you with a company laptop and dual screens.

Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (essential).

At least 2+ years bookkeeping and payroll experience.

Demonstrated expertise in Accounts Payable Management (knowledge with Dext an advantage

Advanced Xero skills (essential). MYOB experience (highly regarded).

Exceptional organisational skills — able to manage multiple clients with varying needs and deadlines (essential).

A client-first mindset, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a collaborative team and autonomously

Confidence with technology, apps, and learning new systems.
