Part-Time Bookkeeper

Location: Sydney
Salary: $35–$40 per hour

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations. This role is perfect for someone who can work independently, maintain accuracy, and provide timely financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).

Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers.

Process invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.

Assist with payroll preparation and expense tracking.

Monitor cash flow and prepare regular financial reports.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Liaise with accountants, auditors, and management when necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, or similar).

Strong knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Understanding of payroll and taxation is an advantage.
