The Role
Qetoe is a fast-growing Melbourne-based food brand making healthy, low-carb comfort food taste amazing. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our team.
This is a part-time role with the opportunity to grow into full-time as the business continues to expand. It’s perfect for someone who has experience with online businesses and wants to be part of a growing brand with big ambitions.
You’ll be working directly with the founder, helping manage day-to-day financials, accounts, and admin tasks that support the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
Weekly reconciliation of accounts and accurate transaction recording
Bookkeeping in Xero (essential)
Manage integration between Shopify, A2X, and Xero (or similar tools)
Track sales, expenses, inventory costs, merchant fees, and advertising spend
Prepare monthly P&L reports and cash flow insights
Assist with BAS, GST, and compliance requirements
Office Administration
Manage emails and basic customer correspondence
File and organise invoices, receipts, and contracts
Liaise with suppliers, freight companies, and warehouse contacts
Schedule meetings and maintain business records
Assist with data entry, spreadsheets, and general admin tasks
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
An experienced bookkeeper, ideally with eCommerce or online business exposure
Confident with Xero and familiar with Shopify/A2X (or similar integrations)
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Comfortable managing both financial and admin tasks
A proactive problem solver who can streamline processes and spot opportunities
Nice to Have
Experience with international transactions and freight invoices
Understanding of marketing and advertising cost allocation
Previous experience in a small business or start-up environment
