ARK Parts Pty Ltd is a small Australian family-owned business that specialises in supplying farm and machinery parts to a range of clients. We have been established since 2005 and have expanded into other areas of the market where we sell online direct to consumers.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, confident, and diligent allrounder bookkeeper.

This is a permanent part time role 4 days per week with flexible days/hours. This role is ~18-20 hours per week (days and hours can be mutually agreed). This role has flexible hours and could suit someone looking for school hours.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities will include:

Financial bookkeeping using MYOB Advanced (Acumatica) in an accurate and timely manner

Timely processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable

Reconciliation of suppliers and receivables accounts

Reconciliation of bank accounts

Preparing month end statements and sending to customers

Data entry of supplier and sales invoices into MYOB Advanced

Bank and credit card reconciliation

Answer customer and supplier queries

Assist in the preparation and lodgement of BAS

Development, maintenance, and monitoring of Budgets including the reporting on how the business is tracking against the budget, identifying areas of concern

Maintain the Chart of Accounts

Preparing fixed and ad hoc reports

Booking online orders for dispatch

Required Experience and Competencies:

Previous bookkeeping experience with MYOB Advanced (Acumatica) preferred but not essential

Be willing and able to learn new software

High attention to detail

Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, particularly with Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A welcoming telephone manner and be well presented

Organised, with the ability to prioritise competing demands

The capability to work both independently and as part of a small team
