Company and Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, family-owned, transport management business in Oakleigh on a part-time basis.

Ideally, the role will be 18-24 hours per week (flexible hours) and they offer hybrid working.

The Senior Bookkeeper is an integral member of the team as the duties including running the business finances, cashflow forecasting, payroll, AP/AR and supporting the owners.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping/transaction processing and STP

Payroll - The business has approx 8 staff on the payroll and over 10 sub-contractors.

AP/AR and super

Account reconciliations – Bank, Debtors, Creditors etc.

Preparing BAS, IAS, and PAYG payment summaries

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping (in Australia)

Exposure to working in the logistics and transport sector is ideal

Must have MYOB and Excel experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail

Strong commercial acumen

Efficient time management skills, highly dependable and thrives as part of a team.
