About the role
As a Provider Relationship Manager you will lead Comlink Australia's relationships with brokered service providers, ensuring they consistently deliver high-quality, person-centred, and compliant industry-relevant services to older people and people with disability. The position plays a critical role in delivering outcomes under the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Quality Standards.
What will this look like on a day-to-day basis?
Engage with providers – hold meetings, forums, or reviews to maintain strong relationships, address issues, and support quality service delivery.
Oversee compliance – monitor provider performance against contracts, KPIs, and aged care/NDIS quality standards, escalating risks where needed.
Support providers – deliver onboarding, training, and guidance to help them meet compliance, reforms, and continuous improvement requirements.
Analyse and report – review service data, consumer feedback, and incident reports; prepare governance or risk reports for senior management.
Internal collaboration – coordinate with care, quality, intake, and clinical teams to align on provider management and ensure service continuity.
Promote quality and safety – ensure issues, hazards, or complaints are addressed promptly and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Model professional conduct – demonstrate respectful communication, uphold confidentiality, and contribute positively to organisational culture and values.
What skills and experience do you need to be a Provider Relationship Manager?
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience with demonstrated expertise in the provision of services by external providers, procurement, community partnerships, or contract oversight roles in aged care, disability, or community services
Proven ability to conduct service reviews against contractual KPIs and deliver governance reports on provider capability and performance
Strong understanding of sector-specific regulations, standards (Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, relevant legislation), and compliance frameworks.
Experience with sector reforms, change management initiatives, and continuous improvement strategies within regulated environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster collaborative internal and external relationships and work towards common goals
Exceptional self-management and organisation skills with the ability to effectively plan work and set priorities
