We’re now looking for a Service Delivery Team Manager to join our Care Services team in a full-time, fixed-term role for 6 months. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact while leading a team that helps shape better outcomes for our community.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Care and Member Services, you’ll provide leadership and guidance to our Senior Service Delivery Coordinators, directly shaping the delivery of quality care services in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Working closely with senior and middle management, you’ll drive quality improvement and assurance initiatives while supporting the Head of Care and Member Services to implement operational priorities across the Care Services team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the Intake/Review, Transport and Scheduling teams, providing clear direction and support.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture built on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain effective governance and administration processes to optimise service delivery.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality services that align with organisational objectives and exceed client expectations.
- Streamline operational workflows to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Oversee government contracts, ensuring compliance and delivery of targets.
To be eligible for this role, you’ll bring:
- Qualifications in human/community services (Diploma or higher preferred).
- Experience managing and leading a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience overseeing funded programs in aged care or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and financial management experience (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage across all levels.
- An understanding of the unique nature of community services and the not-for-profit sector.
- Current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Check.
- Minimum of 1 year in a similar role (flexibility may be considered for the right internal applicant).

About Burnie Brae
The Burnie Brae Centre is a Not-for-Profit Incorporated Organisation which opened in Chermside in March, 1984.
The Centre offers a wide range of social, educational and recreational activities to over 50’s with two membership options currently set at $5.00 and $20.00 per year plus a $5.00 Joining Fee. Additionally, the organisation auspices a range of government funded community services for seniors, frail aged persons and younger people with disabilities managed by a team of dedicated professionals striving to provide the highest possible standard of service to clients and their families.
Office Hours are 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday each week and the Centre is also open at other times for activities and functions.
