ATC Consulting Engineers and Project Managers is a growing, family-owned professional services firm based in Kingaroy with an expanding presence in the Wide Bay area including Gympie and Hervey Bay. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality engineering and project solutions with a personal touch. As our business expands, we’re looking for a skilled and proactive Finance Officer / Manager or Bookkeeper to join our team and help shape our financial future whilst providing management reporting and advice to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital role in managing our financial operations, including:

Preparing management reports and financial analysis for the leadership team·

Providing executive summaries on financial health, upcoming obligations, and project utilisation

Reconciling and balancing accounts and transactions

Lodging BAS, IAS, payroll, superannuation, and other statutory requirements

Forecasting cash flow with accuracy and insight

Managing accounts payable and receivable systems

Coordinating with the Director and external accountant on financial data

Generating weekly financial reports

Supporting general office and financial administration tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who’s detail-oriented, confident, and ready to take ownership of their role. Ideally, you’ll bring:

Qualifications or experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting

Strong skills in Excel and Word

Experience with Xero or MYOB or similar is preferred

Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities

A self-driven approach and the ability to work independently

Hourly rate ranging from $35/hr - $45/ hr depending on qualifications and experience
