What you’ll be doing
- Advancing your administration skills with ongoing training and exposure to multiple business units
- Answering calls, greeting clients at reception
- Setting up the boardroom for client meetings including IT set up and making tea or coffee
- Advising visitors regarding car parking arrangements
- Managing the primary company email inbox and distributing messages to the team
- Lodgment of tax returns via an operating system (training provided!)
- Scanning files, collecting distributing and filing physical mail
- Checking in with the administration team to provide support
- Maintaining office supplies including stationery and milk
- General housekeeping, kitchen tidying and unloading the dishwasher
- Arranging servicing for the vending machine and coffee machine
- Managing staff birthday and anniversary celebrations
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring energy, professionalism and initiative to the role. You’re good with people, communicating clearly and warmly, both in writing and in person. You care about the details and take pride in getting things right. With fluency across the Microsoft Office suite, you’re also comfortable learning new software systems as they come your way. You’re confident setting up meeting rooms and testing AV equipment to ensure meetings run smoothly. Full time working rights and permanent residency of Australia is essential. Most of all, you enjoy being part of a team and love to pitch in and assist with whatever administrative task needs doing.
