About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team. The Administration Officer’s primary function will be executing and managing the onboarding, rostering and coordination of travel arrangements of all staff, facilitating training and ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the office, providing support to the Management Team, Accounts and Estimating. You will report to the General Manager and be a highly organized, detailed-orientated, and proactive individual who can effectively handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities. The Administration Officer will ensure seamless operations, maintain effective communication, and maximise productivity in a fast-paced construction environment.

Essential Skills:

· Proven experience as an Administration Officer, preferably in the construction, civil or mining industry

· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

· Proficiency in using office software and systems, including MS Office Suite and various project management tools

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Attention to detail and problem solving skills

· Ability to multi task

The successful applicant must have:

· Understanding of scheduling and rostering of employees

· In-depth knowledge of safe systems of work, OH&S and contractor management

· Proficiency in using various software and platforms

· Results orientated, takes initiative, makes things happen, with a commitment to meeting targets and deadlines

· Reporting skills both written and oral
