Our client is a specialist boutique commercial law firm that advises across a diverse range of legal areas, specialising in commercial and construction law. They are seeking a Senior Commercial Lawyer or Special Counsel.

The firm works with private and publicly listed companies and high net worth individuals across commercial and corporate matters. The firm is led by a highly accredited legal practitioner.

Key information:

• Salary range : $100,000 - $160,000 + | additional profit sharing incentives can be discussed
• Progressive Boutique Law firm with a tight -knit team
• This position will suit an experienced lawyer who likes to work independently and autonomously
• Work with a large client base of major corporations, as well as public and private businesses and high net worth individuals
• Opportunity to mentor junior staff
• The law firm is an established and has luxurious offices in a high end Castlereagh Street building in the city

About the position:

• Diverse role focusing on corporate and commercial matters
• Transactional and litigation matters
• The firm works across a wide range of areas such as building and construction, aged care & retirement living, Mergers and acquisitions, owners corporations, IP, competition and consumer law, security of payment, enviornment and planning, private client practice and property- real estate.
• As a Senior Associate / Special Counsel the position presents an opportunity for you to mentor junior staff and potentially build a team.

Requirements:

• 2 years PAE or more across commercial / corproate law
• You are comfortable working across a wide range of trabnsactional matters in the commercial / corproate space and also working on dispute resolution/litigation matters
• Enjoy working independently and comfortable working in a botuique law firm setting.
