About the position:

Key areas of work will include:

• Advising on complex commercial contracts, joint ventures, licensing & distribution agreements
• Structuring and advising on shareholder/unitholder agreements, trusts, and succession planning
• Supporting franchisors and franchisees across governance, disputes, and commercial negotiations
• Advising not-for-profits and charities on ACNC compliance, DGR status, and structuring
• Guiding clients through risk management, business transitions, and strategic exits

Key Requirements:

• At least 10+ years PAE in commercial law with recognised expertise
• Proven leadership ability with a track record of growing or managing teams
• Strong transferrable client following.
• Commercially minded with a client-first approach
• Resilient, empathetic, and able to foster a healthy team culture
• Strong interest in building the Sydney office into a market-leading practice
