The Role & The Firm

Our client is a commercial law firm, with offices across the country, that is in growth mode. The firm attracts quality work and household name clients. Even though they attract household name clients, they pride themselves on their personalised legal services.

Due to a strong pipeline of work, our client is looking to recruit a commercial & business lawyer for their growing team.

The work will be broad and interesting and will include:

• high value business sale and purchase transactions
• share sales and purchases
• business structuring
• undertaking initial seed capital fund-raising
• drafting and negotiating shareholder, unit-holder and partnership agreements across various industries including FMCG, retail, medical and manufacturing
• drafting and negotiating commercial contracts including supply agreements, franchise agreements and T&Cs for clients across sectors such as health care, hospitality and technology
• drafting loan and security documents & agreements

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

• have a minimum of 18 months to 3 years pae in general commercial and business law
• strong technical and drafting skills
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• commercial nous
• enthusiasm and a pro-active approach to your work
